Sell More Candles With Hang Tags
The more customers understand your products, the more you’ll sell. It’s important to let shoppers know why they should buy your candles and not competing products.
Use hang tags to differentiate your brand. Tell people what makes your candles unique. You can talk about your fragrance details or the types of wax you use. These help potential customers make informed decisions.
Hang tags are also important for branding. If candle shoppers always see your brand whenever they shop, they’ll learn to trust your business. You want to expose your audience to your brand name and logo as much as possible. Hang tags help you do just that.
Make Unique Candle Tags
There are two types of candle tags that you can use for your business — flat and folded.
Flat hang tags have six size options. The smallest you can print is 2 x 2 in. while the largest is 3 x 3 in. You can place the hang hole in the upper left, right, or center. You can leave your hang tags uncoated but it’s always a good idea to have a matte or gloss finish to add a bit of protection. You also have the option to upgrade to the thickest card option, 18 pt. premium kraft.
You’ll find two size options under folded hang tags. These are 3.25 x 4 in. (folds to 3.25 x 2 in.) and 4 x 4 in. (folds to 4 x 2 in.). You get the same finish options but you can only have the hang holes in the top left.
Design Your Own Candle Packaging Materials

Specifications
Tags are available in four popular materials:
- 100 lb Matte White Cover Stock
- 14 pt Gloss White Cover Stock (High UV Gloss Coating)
- 14 pt Uncoated White Cover Stock
- 18 pt Premium Kraft
100 lb Matte Cover Stock is the thinnest of our available paper options for tags. It bends more easily than 14 pt, but is still thicker and more durable than regular paper. It's typically used for thin business cards and some types of flyers and giveaway cards. It has a lovely matte finish with no coating or sheen. Colors will be somewhat more muted than those on a gloss-coated card.
14 pt White Cover Stock, whether gloss or uncoated, is the standard weight of a typical business card or postcard. While flexible, it doesn't bend or fold as easily as lighter paper stocks. Adding a high-UV gloss coating increases the weight of the card very slightly, but produces intense colors and a deep shine. Uncoated cover stock will have color that is a bit more muted and a surface like regular paper.
18 pt Premium Kraft is significantly thicker than 14 pt and is natural kraft brown in color. It's a durable option that has a matte finish. Keep in mind that as with any other print product, colors will appear muted and will shift slightly towards yellow as the material shows through the ink.

- 2” x 2”- The smallest size we offer, it comes with space suited for smaller logo printing or short messages.
- 2” x 3”- Slightly bigger but surely gives you enough space for price or details for your product.
- 2” x 4”- Lengthy and gives you the ability to explore and add more details as you wish.
- 2” x 5” - Longest size which gives you more space to add information for your product.
- 3” x 3”- Square-shaped Hang Tag instantly stands out for its unique appearance.
