Roll end front tuck box is an industry term that refers to how a box gets assembled. You’d have to roll and fold the panels into place to set it up — hence the name. In some circles, these go by the name REFT boxes.
The front tuck part of the name is in reference to the way you close the box. You tuck the flaps into specific slots in the front. This will secure everything into place.
It’s an elegant design which is why it’s widely used in the industry. These boxes are commonly used as PR boxes because of how they look. However, some businesses use them to fulfill regular orders.
Boxes like this one never fail to leave recipients in awe. If you want to achieve the same thing, then you better consider using roll end front tuck boxes.
But why are they great for unboxing?
One reason is that they’re easy to open. The process is straightforward. There’s no need to grab additional tools. And users can close the box in case they want to place it in storage or repurpose it.
Most REFT boxes are shallow and wide, meaning all of the content should be visible once opened. This is also the reason why they look so professional.
When you order REFT boxes, you can specify how big or small you want them to be. You also get to pick what material to use. Choose whether you want kraft (brown box), standard white, or premium white.
If you want to go all out on your box design, try printing on the inside and outside of the box. Otherwise, you have the option to print on only one side. You can order a plain box if that’s all you need.
You can create your own box design using our free Design Tool. With it, you can upload images that you want to use and enter some text. There’s a live preview that shows you what your box will look like.
It’s the best way to design packaging materials without relying on graphic design software.
