- 100 lb Matte White Cover Stock
- 14 pt Gloss White Cover Stock (High UV Gloss Coating)
- 14 pt Uncoated White Cover Stock
- 18 pt Premium Kraft
100 lb Matte Cover Stock is the thinnest of our available paper options for tags. It bends more easily than 14 pt, but is still thicker and more durable than regular paper. It's typically used for thin business cards and some types of flyers and giveaway cards. It has a lovely matte finish with no coating or sheen. Colors will be somewhat more muted than those on a gloss-coated card.
14 pt White Cover Stock, whether gloss or uncoated, is the standard weight of a typical business card or postcard. While flexible, it doesn't bend or fold as easily as lighter paper stocks. Adding a high-UV gloss coating increases the weight of the card very slightly, but produces intense colors and a deep shine. Uncoated cover stock will have color that is a bit more muted and a surface like regular paper.
18 pt Premium Kraft is significantly thicker than 14 pt and is natural kraft brown in color. It's a durable option that has a matte finish. Keep in mind that as with any other print product, colors will appear muted and will shift slightly towards yellow as the material shows through the ink.
